What this policy covers

GulfServicePros is a directory of Louisiana home service contractors. You can browse contractor listings without creating an account, without filling out any form, and without providing any personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains the limited information we do collect when you visit the site, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.

What we collect

We do not ask you for your name, phone number, email, or any other personal information to use the site.

When you visit the site, our servers and standard web tools automatically collect:

• Operating system
• Pages visited and time spent on the site
• Referring URL (the page that linked you to us)
• Approximate geographic location based on IP address

We collect this through standard web technologies including server logs, cookies, and analytics tools.

How we use this information

We use the information we collect to:

What we do NOT do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to advertisers, marketers, data brokers, or any third party.

We do not share your browsing activity with contractors listed on the site.

We do not create user profiles, build advertising audiences, or track you across other websites.

Contractor information on the site

The contractor listings on GulfServicePros are sourced from publicly available business records — primarily Google Business profiles, the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors public database, and similar public sources.

This information is about businesses, not about consumers. It includes business names, addresses, phone numbers, websites, hours, and public ratings. We display this information so homeowners can find local contractors.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the site, remember basic preferences, and understand usage patterns.

Essential cookies are required for the site to function and cannot be disabled.

Analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) help us understand how visitors use the site. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Data retention

Server logs are typically retained for 90 days. Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default in Google Analytics (configurable in our settings).

We do not retain personal contact information about visitors because we do not collect it.

Data security

We use standard security practices including HTTPS encryption for all site traffic and access controls on our backend systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

The site is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

International users

The site is operated in the United States and intended for users in the United States, specifically Louisiana. If you access the site from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy
