What this is

GulfServicePros is a Louisiana-focused directory of local home service contractors. We cover HVAC, plumbing, electrical, locksmith, cleaning, and air quality services across New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and the surrounding parishes.

We are not a contractor. We do not perform repairs, installations, or any home service work ourselves. We are a directory — a place where you can browse local pros and decide who to contact.

What makes us different

Most home service directories make you fill out a form before you can see anyone. You answer five or six questions about your job, hand over your phone number, and then a handful of contractors call you over the next few days. You never actually get to look at who they are.

GulfServicePros works the opposite way.

You can browse contractor listings directly. No form, no questionnaire, no email required. Open a city or service page, scroll through the list of local pros, read their information.

You can call contractors directly. Their phone numbers, websites, and addresses are right on their listings. You don't have to go through us.

It's free. Always. We never charge you to use the directory or contact contractors.

Local pros that big directories ignore

The national home services directories (you know the ones) tend to feature contractors who pay them the most — usually large franchises and multi-state operators. Smaller, established local businesses often get buried unless they pay for placement.

We took a different approach. We built our directory by identifying the local contractors actually serving New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and surrounding parishes — not just the ones willing to pay for top placement on national platforms. Many of the contractors listed on GulfServicePros are local Louisiana businesses that don't appear prominently anywhere else.

Where listings come from

Contractor listings on the directory are sourced from publicly available business records — primarily Google Business profiles, the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors public database, and similar public sources. We display this information so homeowners can find local contractors.

Not every listing has been independently verified by us. The information shown on most listings comes directly from public sources and may be incomplete or out of date. You should confirm details directly with the contractor before hiring, and you should always verify state licensing at lslbc.louisiana.gov.

Some listings carry a Verified badge. Verified contractors have gone through our verification process — see How verification works for details on what that does and does not mean.

How we hope to make money

We are transparent about the business model. The directory is free for homeowners and will stay that way. Eventually, we plan to offer paid features for contractors — primarily featured placement, expanded profiles, and a paid Verified badge for those who pass our verification process.

For now, we are focused on building a useful directory and seeing whether Louisiana homeowners find it valuable. Anything beyond that comes later.

If you're a contractor and you don't want to be in the directory, you can request removal at any time through our listing removal page or by emailing removal@gulfservicepros.com. We honor reasonable removal requests within 7 business days.

Built locally

GulfServicePros was built in Louisiana, for Louisiana homeowners. The team understands the local building stock, parish permit processes, climate challenges, and post-disaster service environment that make home services in this state genuinely different from anywhere else in the country.
